Problem
Navidrome 0.64.0 (#223) caps decodable artwork at
MaxImageSize(20 MB).album_art_sync.pypulled the Cover Art Archive's full-size originals (/front), which are raw scans: three covers here were 28-36 MB and Navidrome now logsimage exceeds size capand shows no art for them; several more sat at 9-14 MB.Separately, the script's "unchanged source" check compared the final redirect URL, and archive.org serves each request from a different mirror host and shard prefix. Two lookups of the same image never compared equal, so every archive-sourced album would re-download at each 14-day recheck. State already held dozens of distinct mirror hosts.
Fix
/front-1200(the archive's own 1200px thumbnail, a few hundred KB) instead of/front.mbid-.../..._thumb1200.jpg), which is stable across mirrors.Verification
release-group/<mbid>/front-1200for the White Album redirects to..._thumb1200.jpg(9 KB vs 33 KB original); three consecutive requests landed on two different mirror hosts, confirming the churn.last_checkedreset inside the container) and ran the sync:stats={'updated': 75, 'no_source': 1}. The oneno_source(LONG SEASON) 404s on/fronttoo, pre-existing.cover.*under/musicis over 2 MB any more (previously 11 over 5 MB, 3 over 20 MB).getCoverArtfor the three formerly-rejected albums (Imaginal Disk, Hellfire, When the Wind Forgets Your Name) returns 200image/jpeg.mbid-<item>/<file>_thumb1200.jpgkeys; a subsequent dry run queues 0 rechecks.
